Bhanjanagar, April 21: (Report- Jaya Krishna Patnaik): The Ganjam district administration launched the 'Lakshya Niketan' project to provide free civil service coaching to local youth. Today, Commerce, Transport, Steel, and Mines Minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena inaugurated the new training center at the Bhanjanagar City School campus.

Ganjam District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan guided this initiative. The administration opened three training centers across the district. They are located in Bhanjanagar, Chhatrapur, and Berhampur. Meritorious students who face financial challenges no longer need to travel to Delhi or Bhubaneswar. They can now receive modern, high-quality education right in their home district.
The Bhanjanagar center offers a total of 50 seats. The administration reserved 50 percent of these seats for women. 'Sarathi IAS', an educational institute based in Delhi, will conduct virtual training classes. Additionally, experienced local officers will teach the students on a regular basis. Minister Jena praised the project and described the district's effort as a mission to "find pearls inside oysters."
Many important guests attended the inauguration. Sorada MLA Nilamani Bisoyi, Ganjam District Special Development Council Chairman Nilamadhab Patra, Collector V. Keerthi Vasan, Bhanjanagar Sub-Collector Uma Shankar Behera, Block Chairman Nari Sabha Nayak, and DFO Himanshu Shekhar Mohanty shared the stage. BDO Bharati Devi managed the event, while Assistant Executive Engineer Nityananda Patra and Assistant Engineer Rabindra Kumar Nayak helped organize the program.
