BHANJANAGAR, AUG 1 (Report- Jayakrishna Patnaik): The Odisha Secondary School Teachers' Association (OSSTA) of Sorada Block organised its constitutional conference at Udayanath Memorial High School in Kulangi. Block President and Headmaster Dukhishyam Swain presided over the meeting.
District OSSTA officials—including Dillip Kumar Pradhan, Ramachandra Polai, Kedar Nath Patnaik, Balaram Barik, Sudhir Kumar Sethi, Santosh Kumar Jena, Bijay Kumar Behera, Bhikari Charan Gouda, and Headmaster Patita Pabana Khuntia—attended the conference.
The speakers discussed several core topics, organisation of children's festivals and scholarship examinations, preparation and distribution of OSSTA test papers. He speaks resolution of teacher workplace issues and fair representation before the government. The association formally honored newly promoted headmasters who recently joined Sorada Block, as well as headmasters who retired from service.
During the conference, members unanimously elected the new block-level committee for the next three years.
They are president Gopal Krishna Pradhan, vice-presidents Mandakini Gouda, Ashok Kumar Malabishoyi and Mukunda Prasad Patnaik. Secretary Priya Darshan Pradhan and joint secretaries Baishnavi Pradhan, Minati Rani Jena and Sukanta Kumar Das. District representatives Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Shyamaghana Gouda and Ramachandra Bahinipati. State representatives Pradyumna Rout and Durgamadhab Sarangi.
Senior Teacher Dibya Shankar Das delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the session. Teachers from various local schools and staff members of Udayanath Memorial High School managed and coordinated the event.
