BODEN, (Report- Madhu Tandi): Police arrested a 35-year-old man on Thursday for allegedly killing his 65-year-old father in Bagalor Kutiapada village under Boden police limits. 
Police identified the victim as Bhusan Majhi and the accused as his son, Binod Majhi.
According to investigators, Binod returned home in an intoxicated state on Wednesday night after arguing with his wife. He then had an argument with his father. During the fight, Binod picked up a brick and struck his father multiple times on the head and face. Bhusan sustained severe injuries and died at the spot.
Neighbors discovered the body and alerted the local authorities. A police team led by Boden Police Station Officer Dharmendra Bhoi reached the location along with a forensic team to collect evidence.
Police seized the body and sent it to Boden hospital for a post-mortem examination. Officials registered a murder case against Binod Majhi and took him into custody. Police will produce the accused in court, and further investigation is underway.
