Niali / Kataka, (Report - Rupashree Swetapadma Mohanty): A beautiful tradition took place today in the state of Odisha. The people of Niali town sent special gifts to the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri. These gifts come from the ancient Madhava Temple. The local people consider this temple the maternal uncle's home of Lord Jagannath. In their local culture, family members always send love and care when someone falls sick. Today, the temple priests followed this old custom. They packed natural medicines and sent them on a holy journey to Puri.
