Nayagarh, 22/05 (Ramakrushna Rath): Nayagarh Autonomous College proudly announced its final Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) examination results today. The college administration published the results on May 22, 2026, at exactly 11:00 in the morning. The Controller of Examinations and the Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University gave their official approval for this publication. The college released these results during a special administrative meeting. The President of the Management Committee and the college's Controller of Examinations attended this important event.

The undergraduate students showed excellent academic performance this year. The overall pass percentage for all undergraduate streams stands at an impressive 85 percent. When we look at the individual streams, science students secured the highest success rate. Specifically, 87 percent of science students passed their final exams. Meanwhile, 84 percent of arts students successfully cleared their degree requirements. The commerce department also recorded a good result, as 80 percent of its students passed the final examinations.
The postgraduate departments achieved even more impressive academic results. The overall pass percentage for postgraduate students reached an outstanding 98 percent. Students from the Master of Social Work (MSW) program and the Master of Arts in Odia (MAOD) program secured a perfect 100 percent pass rate. Furthermore, 94 percent of the students in the Master of Commerce (MCOM) program passed their final exams successfully.
The college also celebrated the top performers who worked very hard throughout the year. Chinmayee Mishra from the Botany department won the prestigious "Best Graduate" award. She also became the top scorer in Botany by securing a brilliant 9.64 CGPA. In the Arts stream, Rudra Prasad Nayak from the Philosophy department secured the top position. He achieved an excellent score of 9.29 CGPA. Additionally, Biswajit Rout became the topper in the Commerce stream. He scored a remarkable 8.90 CGPA in his final exams.
Many respected guests attended the result declaration ceremony. Mrs. Rozina Das and the Controller of Examinations, Mr. Brajabandhu Behera, graced the occasion. Deputy Controllers of Examinations, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Acharya, Mr. Ashok Kumar Sahoo, and Mr. Gourahari Sahoo, also participated in the event. The college teachers, staff members, and proud parents of the toppers joined the celebration. The administration congratulated all the successful students and wished them a very bright future ahead.
