Kandhamal: (Report- Akulananda Digal): Traditional folk artists from the Kandhamal district delivered a magnificent performance at the famous Bhanjanagar Thakurani Yatra on May 17, 2026. Following this invitation, a total of 30 skilled artists traveled from Tikabali to Bhanjanagar. These artists belong to the Kandhamal District Traditional Folk Artists Federation. They also represent the Banabasi Kala Sanskrutika Bikash Parishad. Several specific dance groups joined the massive procession. The Dakapadar group and the Gandagaon Tilakabata group performed the famous traditional Shinga dance. At the same time, the Kaltimendi Kunangasaru group performed the highly energetic Changu dance.
