TIKABALI: April 4, 2026 (Akulananda Digal): The new academic year (2026-27) began across Odisha today with great enthusiasm. To celebrate the first day of school, the Tikabali Block Education Department launched a grand "Shiksha Rath" (Education Chariot). 
The main goal of this initiative is to encourage children to attend school. It also aims to spread awareness among parents and the public about the importance of quality education.
Headmaster Mr. Digal shared his positive outlook on the event. He stated that the excitement shown by the children on their first day marks a hopeful start for the education sector.
The program concluded with a collective pledge by officials and parents to ensure that every child receives a proper education.

Chariot to Visit 11 Panchayats
The Education Chariot started its journey from the Tikabali Government High School premises. According to the department, the chariot will travel through all 11 panchayats in the block. During its tour, it will visit every village and school to share messages regarding the "Right to Education."
A Warm Welcome at Katimaha
The chariot received a joyful welcome when it reached the Katimaha Primary School. Headmaster Mr. Manabhanjan Digal led the welcoming ceremony. Both new students and senior pupils waited eagerly to greet the chariot.
