Rising Accidents and Public Outcry

Local residents report that the road has been in a broken state for over three years. The lack of maintenance has led to numerous accidents. Many villagers have suffered broken limbs and severe head injuries while trying to navigate the deep potholes.
"We have seen too many accidents here. People are getting hurt every day, but the RD Department remains indifferent to our struggle," said a local resident.

Impact on Essential Services

The crumbling infrastructure is affecting daily life and emergency services:
  • Education: Students face immense difficulty reaching schools and colleges on time.
  • Healthcare: The road is so damaged that ambulances often fail to reach the villages during medical emergencies.
  • Safety: The uneven surface makes travel dangerous, especially after dark or during the rainy season.

Demand for Immediate Action

Despite repeated complaints, the Rural Development Department has yet to begin repair work. The community is now demanding an immediate overhaul of the road to ensure the safety of thousands of villagers.
All eyes are now on the department to see when they will prioritize public safety and restore this essential transport link.
