Subarnapur: The District Collector of Subarnapur declared a school holiday because of the extreme heat in the state. The district administration issued an official notice to confirm this decision. 
Schools across the district will close from the 18th to the 22nd of the month.
However, schools will still conduct all previously scheduled exams. They will hold these exams only during the morning hours to avoid the midday sun.
The official notice also ordered school authorities to provide drinking water. Furthermore, schools must take all necessary safety measures to protect students from the hot weather during these exam times.
