CUTTACK, April 30, 2026 (Report- Rupashree Shwetapadma Mohanty): A group attacked three police officers at the OSAP 6th Battalion campus in Cuttack. The incident happened around 8:00 PM on Wednesday. Two of the three injured officers are currently in serious condition. 
Reports indicate that on-duty officers found a couple behaving improperly on the campus. The officers stopped the couple and brought them to the control room. The young man then used his phone to call several associates. These individuals arrived quickly and assaulted the police officers.
The Chauliaganj police responded immediately after the incident. They arrested five suspects. Emergency teams took the injured officers to a local hospital for medical care.
