NAYAGARH, April 25, 2026 (Report- Ramakrushna Rath): The CM Trophy Inter-Club and Inter-District Football Tournament continued into its second day at the Nayagarh sports ground. The day featured an exciting match between two women's teams: Sharankul Girls FC and Solapata Girls FC. 
Both teams defended their sides well. Neither team scored a goal during the official game time, and the match ended in a scoreless draw. However, tournament officials confirmed that these two teams will face each other again during the league stage.
Zilla Parishad Chairman Er. Debashish Patnaik attended the event as the chief guest. He spoke to the players of both teams, encouraging them to excel and become major sporting milestones for the district.
