​NAYAGARH: (Report- Sanatan Mahakud): ​Odagaon Block successfully hosted the 30th Block-Level Science Exhibition, also known as the Bal Baigyanik Pradarshani, for the current academic session. The National Innovation Campaign (Rashtriya Abiskar Abhiyan) organised the event. Janashakti Government High School, Deogaon-Bhaliadihi, which falls under the Mashabari Cluster, was the venue for the exhibition.

​Inauguration and First Session

​The first session of the event took place with Block Education Officer Pintu Pradhan presiding over the meeting. Engineer Debashis Patnaik, the Chairman of the Nayagarh Zilla Parishad, attended the event as the Chief Guest. He formally inaugurated the exhibition and the student projects.
​Other dignitaries shared the stage during the first phase. They included Samiti members Birajalakshmi Sahoo and Jhilli Pradhan, Sarpanch Gayatri Raut, and Headmaster Satyanarayan Acharya. The gathering celebrated the students' scientific enthusiasm and hard work.

​Second Session and Guest Advice

​Following a break for the mid-day meal, the second session commenced. Tahasildar Manas Ranjan Bhoi participated as the Chief Guest. He addressed the young participants and encouraged them to cultivate an innovative mindset. He urged the students to focus on inventing and developing new things in the future.
​Additional Education Officers Rajkishore Sahu and Raghunath Mallik were among the other prominent guests. Teacher leaders Bhaktaranjan Mishra and Bhagaban Sahu were also present and offered their support. The event concluded with a vote of thanks. Mashabari Cluster CRCC Yashowant Patnaik delivered the closing remarks and thanked everyone for their involvement.

​Collaborative Effort and Project Selection

​Many individuals and educators collaborated to make the exhibition a success. The CRCCs (Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators) who lent their support included Naresh Panigrahi, Bibhutibhushan Ghadei, Sridhar Parida, Hattnath Pradhan, Lalit Mohan Mishra, and Rajkishore Nayak. Teachers Godabari Basantia, Nirakar Swain, and Paramananda Swain worked closely with the organizing team. Furthermore, all the teachers of Janashakti Government High School provided valuable assistance.
​Students presented a total of 133 projects during the exhibition. Following government guidelines, the judges selected only seven projects for the next level. These seven chosen projects were based on the seven notified themes and will now proceed to the district-level competition.
​Experts from the Nayagarh District Education Office acted as the judges. Pradyumna Kumar Nanda, a Science Teacher from Sajanapada High School, and Prakash Kumar Sahoo, the Headmaster of Rajasunakhala Government High School, served on the panel. Also joining the judging team from the Block Education Office were Prasanna Kumar Panigrahi, a Science Teacher from Raghunath Government High School, and Banshidhar Sadangi, a Mathematics Teacher from Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Akhupadar.
​The successful organization of the 30th Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani highlights the region’s commitment to promoting scientific temper and innovation among school students.
