Nayagarh: (Report - Ramakrushna Rath): Sri Ladukes Anchalika Higher Secondary School in Godipada successfully celebrated World AIDS Day with great enthusiasm. The college's Youth Red Cross Department organised a large-scale program to promote public health understanding and social responsibility among its students.

​The college Principal, Dr. Ushakiran Pattnaik, attended the event. She stressed that maintaining good health is our most important goal. Dr. Pattnaik's message emphasized the foundational role of personal well-being in achieving success and happiness in life. She encouraged all students to prioritize healthy habits and to act as health ambassadors within their families and communities.

​Professor Laxmidhar Das, another key speaker, joined the celebrations. He highlighted the critical need for students to develop awareness and a strong sense of service to create a healthy society. Professor Das explained that young people play a vital role in sharing important health information. He pointed out that informed students become leaders who can bring about positive change.
​Laboratory Assistants Pabitra Prusty and Sarat Chandra Mohapatra also addressed the gathering. They both discussed the importance of celebrating World Health Awareness Day. They shared details about the global effort and how local events contribute to the wider movement. Their talks helped the audience understand the history and significance of the day, making the theme relevant for the students.

​The event also featured a lively debate competition. Ms. Priyadarshini Mohapatra earned the top prize in the contest. The college administration presented her with an award for her excellent performance and presentation skills.
