KOLKATA: (Report- Sanatan Mahakud):  Vidya Publishing and the "Mahiyasi Lekhika" organisation jointly hosted a successful virtual multilingual poetry session on the evening of December 24. 
Global Female Poets Celebrate Winter in Multilingual Virtual Event


The event, which began at 7:00 PM, brought together literature lovers from across India and abroad. Approximately 30 female poets participated in the program, drawing a large audience of enthusiastic listeners.

Event Highlights

  • Diverse Locations: Writers joined the digital session from major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, and West Bengal, as well as Odisha’s Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar.
  • Multiple Languages: The poets showcased their work in five different languages: Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, English, and Odia.
  • Cultural Opening: The program started with a soulful rendition of "Jagannath Janana" (devotional songs) performed by Madhusmita Das.
