Bhubaneswar: (Reported by Sanatan Mahakud): The Indian Translated Literature Association recently hosted an online National-Level Translated Poetry Recital and Discussion in an incredible celebration of linguistic variety and inventiveness. 20 young poets and translators from six states—Jammu and Kashmir, Nagaland, Odisha, Maharashtra, Assam, and Punjab—participated enthusiastically in the event. 
Renowned Indian author Dr. Jnaneshwar Mule graced the occasion, stressing the transformational potential of translation and poetry. Dr. Mule emphasised in his keynote speech that poets act as a conduit between the imagination and the real world. He said, "Translation enhances literature by creating a colourful bouquet of varied cultures and viewpoints." He also emphasised the vital role that young people play in developing the translation industry, describing it as a vital instrument for promoting both national and international solidarity.

Dr. Manisha Anand Patil, a Marathi novelist, welcomed everyone warmly and laid the groundwork for a day of cooperative discussion. Carefully organised by Bandita Mudiyar Thakuriya from Assam and Jayashree Dora from Odisha, the poetry recital session included a remarkable selection of translated poems that encapsulated both universal feelings and local realities.As an example of how translation may facilitate cross-cultural communication, young poets and translators from different areas contributed their distinctive voices to the event.
