NAYAGARH, August 14 (Report - Ramakrishna Rath): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the Nayagarh constituency organised a large tricolor rally today. Senior BJP leader Pratyusha Rajeshwari Singh led the entire event. The party arranged this rally as part of the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. The event brought many local citizens and party workers together. 
The march started at the local PWD Bungalow. It ended at the Old Palace. A major highlight of the event was the large participation of women. The women carried a 200-meter-long Indian national flag. They walked together along the main roads of Nayagarh city. Their march continued until they reached the local Jagannath Temple. The participants chanted national slogans as they walked along the route.
At the same time, many BJP workers and officials joined a motorcycle rally. The riders attached the national flag to their motorcycles. They drove through various parts of the city and finally arrived at the Old Palace. The crowd shouted slogans like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram" during the entire procession.
Several key leaders attended the rally to show their support. Nayagarh District BJP In-charge Surath Biswal, District General Secretary Parsuram Swain, and Panchayat Samiti Chairman Kishor Kumar Sahoo took part in the march. District Secretary Rinkina Gouda and District Vice President Madhab Behera also joined the programme. Many local committee presidents, youth wing members, and women's wing organisers participated in large numbers.
A dedicated team of senior leaders and party workers managed the procession. This group included Debi Prasad Sahoo, Ranjan Rashmi Jena, Pramila Mallick, Kabiraj Sahoo, and Dillip Pradhan. Other active members were Keshab Pal, Prabhakar Behera, Raj Pradhan, Tapas Padhi, and Ramesh Pradhan. Kishor Sahoo directed the event directly and kept the large crowd in order.
After the rally ended, the party held a separate meeting at the BJP office near the Old Palace. This gathering marked Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. The attendees held a memorial service. They remembered the people who faced hardships during the partition of India. They honored the citizens who lost their homes and lives during that historical event.
Several speakers addressed the crowd at the memorial meeting. They asked the citizens to protect the unity, safety, and independence of the country. They encouraged everyone to put the nation first.
