SHERAGADA, GANJAM (April 18): (Reported by Ramakrishna Pani): Officials inaugurated new buildings for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Sports Department at PM Shri Natheshwar High School today. The school is located in the Dhanantara Panchayat of the Sheragada block. 
Headmaster Shishir Kumar Pradhan presided over the opening ceremony. NCC Colonel Nitin Sahai inaugurated the new NCC facility. Meanwhile, prominent social worker Niranjan Jena attended the event as the chief guest and opened the new sports department building.
Several notable guests attended the program. These included NCC officials Narayan Padhi, A.K. Sethi, and R.K. Swain. Former Headmaster Nabin Chandra Padhi, Kedarnath Mohanty, and Bank of India (Krushna Chhai branch) Manager Ananta Das also joined the celebration. School staff members, including NCC teacher Rajesh Kumar Jena and sports teacher Ambika Sahu, participated in the event.
During the ceremony, the organizers honored the School Management Committee President, Makara Swain, by presenting him with a traditional shawl.
Senior teacher Ashok Kumar Tripathy successfully coordinated the entire program. Teacher Shibaram Nayak introduced the guests to the audience. Finally, Ratnakar Mallick delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the event.
