Odagaon News: Free Uniforms for Kadalibandha Primary Students

Nihar Ranjan Behera, the Executive Officer of Odagaon, attended as the chief guest. Additional Tahasildar G. Srinu joined as the main speaker. Other important guests included education officials Raghunath Mallick and Naresh Panigrahi, along with retired teacher Panchanan Panda. Students, parents, and school committee members also attended the event.
The guests gave two pairs of new uniforms to each student. The state government wants all schools to hand out uniforms before April 27. The guests felt very happy because this school finished the task first in the Odagaon block. Everyone agreed that receiving new uniforms at the start of the year will make students excited to study.
The speakers shared helpful advice with the parents. They told parents to send their children to school clean and well-dressed. They asked parents to limit mobile phone use at home. They also told the children to balance study and play, and to ask their teachers more questions in class.
During the event, Headmaster Dash brought up a serious problem. The school currently lacks electricity. The hot summer weather makes studying very difficult for the children. The villagers asked the district collector for help two months ago. Officials collected the required funds, but the problem remains unfixed.
Despite the lack of power, the guests really liked the school campus. They praised the beautiful green environment and the cheap, handmade teaching tools. Chief guest Nihar Ranjan Behera promised to help improve the school's learning environment very soon.
Teacher Rita Panda thanked everyone at the end of the programme.
