Mahakalapada: (Report- Saroj Pani): A tragic event took place in the Mahakalapada block of Kendrapara district. A young college student from Kajalapati village passed away on Saturday night. The student, daughter of Sashi Mandal, studied at Baiababa College. She lived in a student accommodation in the nearby Shikhar village. 
The incident happened around 10:00 PM. Her friends visited her room and found her unresponsive inside. The accommodation managers and local students quickly rushed her to the Mahakalapada Community Health Centre.
The facility managers immediately informed her family about the situation. After the family members arrived, they moved the student to the Kendrapara District Headquarters Hospital. Unfortunately, the attending doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
The family of the student filed a formal complaint at the Mahakalapada police station. They suspect that personal relationship issues led to this tragic incident.
Manas Kumar Malik, the Inspector-in-Charge of the Mahakalapada police station, confirmed the details. He stated that the police registered an official case (Case Number 9/26) based on the family's report. The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances surrounding her death.
