KENDRAPARA: (Report- Saroj Pani): Tantiapal Marine Police in the Mahakalapada block achieved a major success recently. Officers arrested three suspects connected to a recent highway robbery.
The robbery happened late at night on the 6th of the month. The suspects stopped two trucks near the Bandhapada intersection. They attacked the truck drivers and helpers. During the event, the suspects took 40,000 rupees and three mobile phones. One driver suffered injuries during the attack.
The injured driver filed a written complaint at the Tantiapal Marine Police Station. Following the complaint, Police Inspector Rati Ranjan Nayak registered a case and started an investigation. The police team moved quickly and identified the people involved.

Inspector Nayak stated that the police team will catch the remaining suspects very soon.

- Ankush Jena from Thakur Patna village
- Jhantu Jena from Adarapali village
