Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has announced a temporary restriction on public visits tomorrow to mark the holy occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
Special rituals for the birth of Lord Rama will be performed inside the 12th-century shrine. To ensure these sacred traditions are conducted smoothly, general public darshan will be suspended for approximately five hours.

Occasion: Sri Rama Navami (Birth celebrations of Lord Rama).
  • Time of Restriction: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Reason: The closure begins after the Madhyanha Dhupa (afternoon food offering) and lasts until the birth rituals are completed.
The administration has requested all devotees to plan their visit accordingly. Normal darshan will resume once the evening rituals are over.
