These technological priorities ensure the state aligns its growth with long-term aspirations. The IT Policy 2025 directly supports Odisha’s broader vision documents for the years 2036 and 2047, setting the stage for sustained progress well into the future. The state is actively preparing its workforce and infrastructure to become a leader in the next wave of digital innovation.
In addition, the government has created the Policy Advocacy & Vision Group (PAVG). This group functions as a crucial think tank, providing expert analysis and recommending necessary adjustments or "mid-course corrections" to the policy as it rolls out. This ensures the IT strategy remains flexible and responsive to the evolving technology landscape.
The Odisha Computer Applications Centre (OCAC) serves as the official nodal agency for the policy. The OCAC has established dedicated Project Implementation and Management Units to handle the day-to-day execution and monitoring of various initiatives.
