ROURKELA: (Report- Sanatan Mahakud): DAV School in Sector-16 recently organised a grand exhibition featuring Art, Social Science, Science, Literature, and Mathematics. The event showcased the creative and intellectual talents of the students.
The exhibition provided a platform for students to demonstrate their learning through practical models and artistic displays. Parents and visitors praised the students for their innovation and the school for encouraging such diverse extracurricular activities.
Inauguration and Opening Ceremony
The event began with a formal inauguration ceremony. Mr. Ramesh Chandra Patra, a distinguished artist and researcher of Santhali language and literature, attended as the chief guest. He opened the exhibition by lighting the traditional lamp. Following the inauguration, the students and staff joined together to chant Vedic hymns and offer prayers, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere for the day.Evaluation of Student Projects
Expert judges visited the various stalls to evaluate the hard work of the students. The school divided the evaluation process into different categories based on the subjects:- Art and Craft: Mr. Ramesh Chandra Patra judged the Art and Craft section. Teachers Banita Purohit and Madhumita Behera assisted him in reviewing the creative paintings and handmade models.
- Science and Mathematics: Mrs. Meena Naik and Payal Sahu served as guest judges for the Science and Math departments. They observed various innovative projects and experiments. Teachers Anita Das, Susmita Jena, Sasmita Das, Smita Parida, and Manas Ranjan Sahu provided support during this session.
Event Management and Success
Sunita Pradhan managed the overall coordination of the institution’s activities during the event.
