Nayagarh: (Report - Ramakrushna Rath): The Nayagarh Autonomous College campus successfully hosted the District-Level Youth Festival – 2025 today. The event was a joint initiative by the Nayagarh District Administration and the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Odisha. Hundreds of young people from across the district participated in the day-long cultural and literary showcase.
The festival’s main goal was to energise and promote the potential of the district’s youth in literature, culture, arts, music, and leadership. Representatives from various educational institutions and youth organisations in the Nayagarh district actively participated in the competitions.

A distinguished group of officials and leaders attended the event to encourage the participants and present awards. The guests included Er. Debasish Pattnaik, Chairman of the District Council, Smt. Rojina Das, Additional District Collector, and Shri Karndeb Samadar, Sub-Collector.
The Principal of Nayagarh Autonomous College, Shri Bipin Bihari Pattnaik, welcomed the guests and participants to the college grounds. Smt. Sujata Kumari Sahoo, District Sports Officer of Nayagarh, also attended the function and played a key role in managing the day’s activities.
More than 800 students from various blocks of the district participated in the numerous competitions. The esteemed guests presented awards to the successful competitors, celebrating their achievements and inspiring others. Smt. Sujata Kumari Sahoo, the District Sports Officer, successfully managed the entire program.
