MANIKTALLA, KOLKATA – (Report- Sanatan Mahakud): In a vibrant initiative focused on youth empowerment, the Vivekananda Nagar Kendra successfully organised a day-long personality development camp for students at the Jaiswal Balika Vidyalaya on Monday, November 17, 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 77 young girls, who engaged in a series of activities designed to build confidence, promote physical health, and underscore the importance of education.
The program commenced on a serene note with a collective peace prayer, led by Radhika Sharma. This set a thoughtful and focused tone for the day. Following the opening, Vanita Didi, a representative from the Kendra, addressed the gathering. She outlined the core objectives of the camp and provided a brief introduction to the various community activities and initiatives regularly undertaken by the Vivekananda Nagar Kendra.
Following the yoga session, the energy shifted to fun and collaboration. A team of organizers, including Ritika Singh, Kavita, and Radhika, led the children through a series of entertaining games. These activities were carefully selected to be more than just playful; they were designed to foster essential team-building skills, encourage communication, and promote camaraderie among the students. The school grounds echoed with laughter and cheerful shouts as the girls worked together to complete the challenges.
Building on that collective spirit, the organisers conducted an impactful guidance session. They spoke to the girls on several crucial themes, including the strength of womanhood, the transformative power of education, and the necessity of self-confidence. Instead of delivering a standard lecture, the speakers used relatable stories and real-life examples to make their points resonate deeply. The young attendees listened with rapt attention, visibly absorbing the empowering messages.
The session concluded on a high note, with many students making a personal commitment to focus on their personal growth and to dedicate themselves to their studies with renewed vigor.
The successful execution of the camp was led by the coordinated efforts of Ritika Singh, Radhika Sharma, and Kavita Rajak, whose seamless management ensured that every segment of the program ran smoothly and left a lasting, positive impact on all the young participants.
