BJP Seva Paksha Workshop Drives Local Development in Daspalla

The workshop, which began at 2 PM, saw active participation from BJP workers and local leaders. Key topics included sanitation, tree plantation, healthcare infrastructure, and regional development challenges. Attendees pledged to support party-led programs from September 17 to October 2, 2025, across municipal, district, and panchayat levels.

Key Discussions and Decisions

The workshop emphasized the importance of environmental conservation, with plans to launch a tree plantation drive starting September 17. This initiative will be implemented at booth, panchayat, and municipal levels to maximize community involvement.
Infrastructure issues were also a focal point. Participants highlighted the poor condition of three major roads in Nuagaon Gram Panchayat: Dolamundai Road, Dadar Road, and Abhayapur Road. These routes have caused significant inconvenience to residents, and the workshop called for immediate action from relevant authorities.
Healthcare emerged as another critical concern. The absence of a doctor at the Nuagaon Health Center has severely impacted local communities. Workshop attendees urged health departments to address this shortage promptly.
Additionally, problems related to network connectivity and electricity supply were discussed, with calls for improved services in the region.

Acknowledgments and Appreciation

The workshop acknowledged the efforts of Kandhamal MP Shri Sukant Kumar Panigrahi, who allocated ₹2 lakh from the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for the renovation of the Dolamundai community building and ₹1 lakh for the development of the Nuagaon Navgraha Mandap. Participants expressed gratitude for his support.
