Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi attended a high-level state consultation workshop at the Lok Seva Bhawan to discuss the roadmap for Vision Odisha 2036 and 2047. The workshop focused on transforming Odisha into a prosperous and inclusive economy while ensuring equitable access to basic amenities for all citizens, particularly the marginalized sections of society.
Chief Minister Majhi described the vision document as a "roadmap for the dreams of 4.5 crore Odias" and a "promise to future generations." He stressed that the state’s development must be holistic, leaving no one behind.
Key Goals of Vision 2036
Under Vision Odisha 2036, the state government has outlined 36 strategic initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable growth. One of the most ambitious targets is elevating Odisha’s economy to a staggering $500 billion (USD).
