Daspalla: (Report- Subash Chandra Barik): A heartfelt farewell ceremony was organized today to honor Sureshan Sahoo, a dedicated health worker from Narajipada Sub-Center under the Banigochha Sector of Daspalla Block, who is set to retire on the 31st of this month. The event, organised by the Banigochha Sector, was attended by colleagues, medical staff, and community members who gathered to express their gratitude and bid him an emotional goodbye. 
The farewell function saw the presence of Dr. Kaliprasad Sadangi (Medical Officer), pharmacists, all female health workers (ANMs), male health workers, supervisors, ASHA facilitators, ASHA workers, and hospital staff. They presented Sahoo with gifts and tokens of appreciation, their eyes filled with tears as they said their goodbyes to a beloved colleague.

Known for his discipline and unwavering dedication, he served the nation for 18 years before retiring from the military in 2002.
