Nayagarh Sarpanch Leads the Way in Cleanliness Drive to Keep Gania Tidy

Amidst this growing problem, Gania Sarpanch, Giridhari Sethi, took a bold step to address the situation. Determined to bring about a change, Sethi launched a cleanliness awareness program that aimed to educate and involve the local community in keeping their surroundings clean.

Using a loudspeaker, Sarpanch Giridhari Sethi went from street to street, urging residents not to dump garbage carelessly and to be more responsible with their waste. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness and how it impacts the health and well-being of everyone in the community. Sethi’s efforts didn’t stop with just spreading the message; he also took action by organizing a cleaning drive with the help of local women.

The women of the Maa Sarbamanggala Self-Help Group, a local organization, actively participated in the cleanliness drive. They were seen cleaning up important public areas like Gania Market, Hatapadia, and Gandhi Market, setting an example for others to follow. Their hard work and dedication were met with appreciation from the community.

The Sarpanch's initiative was well-received by the residents of Gania. Many praised his efforts and the dedication shown by the women of the self-help group. Sethi also made a heartfelt appeal to the public, encouraging everyone to join hands in keeping their village clean. He stressed that maintaining cleanliness is not just the responsibility of a few, but a collective duty that everyone should contribute to.

This cleanliness awareness program was attended by Sarpanch Giridhari Sethi, CRP Jhumuri Nayak, MBK Shuklarani Das, and the women of the Maa Sarbamanggala Self-Help Group. Their combined efforts made a significant impact, inspiring others in the community to take pride in their surroundings and work together to keep Gania clean and green.

Through this initiative, Sarpanch Giridhari Sethi has set a shining example of leadership and community spirit, showing that when people come together for a common cause, positive change is possible.
