Nayagada: Police recovered the body of a 28-year-old man in the Nayagada district. They found him inside a cashew forest near the Khatia Bhalia junction. This area falls under the Darpanarayanpur police outpost. 
Police identified the man as Manas Behera. He lived in Kodie Kahania village under the Itamati police station.
Officers discovered his body in a hanging position. They also found cut marks on his neck. Police examined the area around the body. Based on the physical evidence, they suspect a planned murder.
Ranpur Police Inspector Ashish Dev Sahu visited the crime scene. Sharanakul Sub-Divisional Police Officer Diptikant Pradhan also reached the location. The police team is currently investigating the case.
