NAYAGARH, Aug 1 (Report - Ramakrishna Rath): Anil Kumar Dash, the in-charge District Physical Education Officer (DPEO) of Nayagarh and sports teacher at Barapalli High School, has retired from government service. To mark his superannuation, separate farewell ceremonies were organized by the District Education Office and Barapalli High School. 
At the official ceremony held at the District Education Office, District Education Officer (DEO) Chittaranjan Pandey felicitated Dash with a citation and traditional attire, acknowledging his organizational role and contributions to sports administration in the district.
The event was attended by officials and staff, including Additional DEOs Gitanjali Sahu and Banalata Behera, Head Clerk Dhananjay Sarangi, Office Staff Shridhar Kumar Sahu, Sachikant Mishra, Arabinda Nayak, and Manas Kumar Sethi.
A second felicitation meeting was held on the campus of Barapalli High School, presided over by Headmaster Sarat Kumar Dash. School Management Committee President Rajanikant Nanda attended as the Chief Guest. Additional DEOs Gitanjali Sahu and Banalata Behera, along with local Sarpanch Niranjan Bidhar, attended as guests of honor and noted Dash's service to school athletics and physical education. Teacher Goswami Das delivered the introductory address.
