On the social media platform 'X', the Prime Minister stated that protecting the interests of students is a top priority. He directed government departments and officials to take necessary actions. He stated that the law will not spare anyone involved in these crimes.
Leaders of the INDIA bloc, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and Akhilesh Yadav, protested near the Makar Dwar of the Parliament. The opposition is holding the government accountable for the exam irregularities. They demand the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
In response, NDA members held counter-protests in front of the opposition members.
Medha Kulkarni stated that the government cares about the students. She noted that the police have already jailed the accused in the NEET paper leak case. She added that the government successfully conducted a retest and published the results.
