Cuttack, April 14, 2026 (Report- Rupshree Swetapadma Mohanty): Police in Cuttack have set up strong security measures today. They are preparing for the upcoming Hanuman Jayanti procession. Authorities want to maintain peace and prevent any problems during the event. 
Officers are standing guard at key locations across the city. Cuttack DCP Hrushikesh Khilari directed this major operation. To ensure public safety, the police department deployed the 12 platoons of police forces, special armed forces and Quick Response Teams (QRT). These teams are actively watching major intersections, local temples, and the planned procession route.
The police use modern technology to keep the city safe. They monitor the entire area from above and below using CCTV cameras and drones.
The traffic department created special diversion routes. These new routes guide daily vehicles safely around the event. Furthermore, emergency teams keep ambulances and fire trucks on standby for any urgent needs.
The police request the public to stay peaceful during the celebrations. They also strongly advise everyone to ignore false rumors and enjoy the event responsibly.
