Nayagarh: (Report- Ramakrushna Rath): The Jai Jagannath Sanskrutik Parishad recently hosted a grand Utkal Divas celebration. The festive event took place at the Jagannath Temple in Pithampur, near Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The cultural council organised this special program to bring joy to the hundreds of Odia people who live and work in Pithampur, far from their home state.

Event Inauguration and Guests

Police Station In-charge Mr. Satish Sharma attended the event as the chief guest. Several key committee members lit the traditional lamp to start the program.

Cultural Performances

The event featured beautiful cultural performances. Renowned Odissi dancer Mrs. Swayampragnya Sahoo and her talented students performed a high-quality classical Odissi dance.

Following the dance, scientists from the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) entertained the crowd. They performed a comedy play titled "Apan Sakshi Rahile Hajur." The audience thoroughly enjoyed the play and highly praised the actors.
