TIKABALI, April 3: (Report- Akulananda Digal): Churches across Tikabali block observed Good Friday today with deep solemnity and prayer. Christian devotees gathered in large numbers to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. 
Good Friday Observed with Devotion and Unique Rituals in Tikabali


Special prayer services were held in both Tikabali town and surrounding rural areas. Unlike regular services, the Good Friday mass lasted for several hours. Believers reflected on the sufferings of Christ, creating a deeply emotional atmosphere in the chapels.

Seven Last Words Shared at Tengadapathar

At the major churches in the region, including the one in Tengadapathar, the service focused on the "Seven Last Words" spoken by Jesus on the cross. Seven different speakers explained these messages, teaching the congregation about their importance for humanity.

Unique Traditions at Believers Eastern Church

The Believers Eastern Church, located at Tengadapathar Junction, celebrated the occasion with unique traditions this year. Following a week of evening prayers, a special ceremony took place on the eve of Good Friday.
To honor the humility of Jesus Christ, the church pastor, Father Lebiya, and his wife performed the ritual of washing the feet of the devotees. After this, the congregation participated in the Holy Communion, sharing bread and wine.

Message of Peace and Forgiveness

The services concluded with mass prayers for world peace. Preachers urged the community to follow the path of forgiveness, Love amd Peace.
Hundreds of faithful followers attended these events, making the observance a significant spiritual gathering for the Tikabali region.
