Bahadajhola: (Report- Ashok Kumar Sahoo): A 65-year-old woman collapsed at her home while speaking with her son on the phone. The incident occurred on April 24 in Ghadeibandha village, located in the Bahadajhola panchayat of Nayagarh district.
Ambika Pahan was talking to her son, Daka Pahan, around 8:00 PM. Daka currently works in Bengaluru. During the conversation, Ambika suddenly lost her balance and fainted. Her family members quickly took her to the Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital in an auto-rickshaw.
Doctors treated her in Nayagarh for two days. However, her health did not improve. The medical team then moved her to AIIMS in Bhubaneswar. Her condition worsened, so doctors transferred her again around 2:00 AM to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for advanced care.
At SCB Medical College, doctors performed a CT scan. They found a blood clot in her brain and informed the family. Ambika is currently in a serious condition. Her husband, Akrura Pahan, and the rest of the family are waiting anxiously for her to recover. They are relying completely on the medical team to help her get well and return home safely.
