Bhubaneswar: Odisha has officially entered a period of grand celebration. Starting today, April 1, which marks Odisha Day, the state begins the "Odia Pakhya 2026." This fifteen-day festival will continue until April 14, the day of the Odia New Year (Maha Vishuba Sankranti). The event aims to showcase the glorious heritage, vibrant culture, and rich traditions of the state.

He emphasized that this festival is not just a government event but a collective celebration of every Odia person's roots.
