Bhubaneswar: Winter has arrived with full force in the state of Odisha. A severe cold wave is currently moving through the region, causing temperatures to drop sharply. Residents across the state are feeling the chill as the weather conditions change rapidly. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) recently released data showing that the cold is widespread. According to their latest reports, 16 different cities and towns in Odisha have recorded temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or below.
The Coldest Locations
The data highlights that Semiliguda is currently the coldest place in the state. The temperature in this area dropped to a freezing 3.5 degrees Celsius. This marks the lowest temperature recorded anywhere in Odisha so far this winter season. G Udayagiri is also experiencing extreme cold.
