Daspalla, Nayagarh – November 11, 2025: (Report- Subash Chandra Barik): The two-day district-level Saragiphul children's festival concluded successfully on November 11 at the Government Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe High School in Banigochha. The event showcased the talents of students from approximately 31 local schools. 
The festival, organised as part of the government's initiative to enrich education, featured a vibrant mix of dance, music, songs, and sports. It provided a platform for students, particularly from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities, to display their cultural and athletic skills.
The inauguration ceremony on the first day was led by Chief Guest Lagnajeet Rout, the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad. He was joined by other dignitaries, including Dushmant Kumar Pradhan, Additional District Welfare Officer, and Sasmita Mahakhud, Sarpanch.
The event was successfully organized under the leadership of the school's Headmaster, Santosh Kumar Nayak, with support from the school's teachers and staff.
The closing ceremony on the final day saw P.D. Shri Rout as the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by Guest of Honour Karnadev Samantar, the Sub-Collector, and Purnachandra Nayak, former Dasapalla MLA.
The program concluded with an award distribution ceremony, where distinguished guests presented prizes to the talented and participating students. A key highlight was a discussion on important school issues, brought to the attention of the district administration by the former MLA.
All participating schools and their teachers provided full cooperation, making the Saragiphul 2025 festival a resounding success in promoting extracurricular excellence among students.
