Nayagarh: The village of Nuagaon in Nayagarh district witnessed a significant milestone as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its centenary, marking 100 years of establishment. The event, which also coincided with the Vijaya Dashami festival, was held at the local government primary school grounds and attended by over 100 RSS members and supporters, creating a vibrant atmosphere that brought together everyone from young children to senior citizens. 
The ceremony, organized under the direction of Sanjay Kumar Behera, the RSS Nuagaon Khand Karyavah, featured traditional rituals and a nagar parikrama (procession). The program included both physical exercises such as Surya Namaskar, yoga, and asanas, and intellectual sessions, reflecting the organization's focus on holistic development.
Prominent attendees included the chief guest, Shri Charan Nayak, a retired bank manager, and the keynote speaker, Shri Gopal Chandra Swain, the Nayagarh District Intellectual Chief. They were joined by other senior intellectuals from Nuagaon and numerous RSS volunteers.
