BHUBANESWAR: In a significant development aimed at accelerating financial aid to citizens, Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister, Prabhati Parida, announced a major revision to the implementation of the much-anticipated Subhadra Yojana on Wednesday. The announcement promises a substantial one-time payment for all eligible beneficiaries of the scheme.
Addressing the ongoing review process of the welfare initiative, the Deputy Chief Minister declared that all verified and eligible beneficiaries would receive the financial assistance allocated under the Subhadra Yojana without delay. Crucially, she stated that qualified individuals would receive the funds for two installments in a single, lump-sum payment, ensuring immediate and enhanced support for families.

"A thorough process is underway to include all previously omitted beneficiaries," Parida said. "We are cross-verifying data across departments to create a flawless list. A major decision regarding the inclusion of these beneficiaries is expected soon."To ensure accuracy and eliminate errors, the Women and Child Development Department, which is overseeing the scheme, has requested crucial data from several key government departments.
