Gautam Adani Serves Mahaprasad at Puri Jagannath Temple | ISKCON Kitchen Visit

Undeterred by heavy monsoon rains, the Adani family proceeded with their pilgrimage. They sought the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra within the temple complex. The family also paid their respects to the sacred Rath Yatra chariots, touching them reverently.
Following the temple darshan, the Adanis visited the massive ISKCON kitchen facility in Puri. This kitchen prepares Mahaprasad, the sanctified food offering, for an astounding 400,000 devotees daily. Here, Gautam Adani and Priti Adani actively participated in the sacred service of preparing and distributing the Mahaprasad.
Gautam Adani personally helped distribute Prasad to devotees. Priti Adani demonstrated deep involvement in the kitchen activities. She rolled out Puris (fried bread) for the meals. She also sat down to chop vegetables and fruits needed for the massive cooking operation. The couple took a complete tour of the kitchen complex, observing the intricate processes involved in preparing food on such a grand scale.
During their ISKCON visit, Gautam Adani also paid respects before the deity of Srila Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON, seeking his blessings. The family then witnessed the evening Aarti (prayer ceremony) for Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra.
Reflecting on the experience, Gautam Adani shared profound thoughts with those present.
"This is not just a spiritual moment," he stated. "It is a moment that fosters humility, replacing ego. I feel fortunate to have come near the Lord's feet." He expressed deep gratitude, saying, "I have received everything from Lord Jagannath. I had nothing. Whatever I have is due to people's grace and blessings."
Adani connected this service to a broader initiative, mentioning the group's participation in the recent Maha Kumbh. "For the first time at the Maha Kumbh, we attempted Sadhana (spiritual practice) through Seva (service). Over 5,000 of our colleagues and associates participated. Through this service, we saw much transformation in life. They are now determined to move forward in the great journey of Jagannath Puri."
Adani concluded by stating he prayed to Lord Jagannath for the continued progress and prosperity of both Odisha and India. His visit, marked by active participation in temple rituals and hands-on service in the community kitchen, highlighted a display of faith and humility by one of India's foremost business leaders amidst the spiritual atmosphere of Puri.
