Balasore (May 3): (Reported by Sanatan Mahakud): A six-day summer yoga camp aimed at fostering mental and physical development among children was successfully organized by Healthy Life Yoga Mahavidyalaya and the Institute of Nature Cure and Yogic Sciences in Chidiapol, Balasore. The camp, held from April 28 to May 3, focused on introducing young participants to yoga, meditation, and healthy lifestyle practices to enhance their mental well-being.
The closing ceremony of the camp was graced by Nilakantha Panda, President of the Balasore District consumer Court, who emphasized the importance of yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and martial arts like karate in children's overall growth. He highlighted that these practices not only improve concentration and discipline but also help shape a positive mindset in young learners.
