Daspalla: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized two key worker conferences in Daspalla, Nayagarh district on Tuesday, addressing local issues and paying tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.

First Meeting in Banigochha 

The first meeting was held at the Kulurukumpa Kalyan Mandap in Banigochha at 11:30 AM. Attended by BJP workers from across the Banigochha block, the event included discussions on regional challenges and development strategies. 

Key attendees included: 

  • Kishore Chandra Dalabehera, Banigochha Mandal President & MP representative 
  • Ashok Nayak, Sarpanch of Kulurukumpa 
  • Babita Nayak, former Sarpanch 
  • Anjan Kumar Das, NAC representative from Daspalla 
The meeting saw participation from workers of Nuagaon, Kalasakhamana, Chadheyapalli, Duda, Kujamendhi, Banigochha, and Kulurukumpa Gram Panchayats.

Second Meeting in Sariganda 

Later, at 2:30 PM, a second conference took place near the Kuanria Dam at Maa Kuandishwari Temple in Sariganda. The session focused on organizational strengthening and booth-level strategies. 

Prominent attendees included: 

  • Sukant Kumar Panigrahi, Kandhamal MP 
  • Kishore Chandra Dalabehera, MP representative 
  • Badu Bhai Udyogi, entrepreneur 
  • Bapuji Sahu, committee member 
  • Sanjay Kumar Patnaik, Sarpanch of Similisahi 
  • Simant Kumar Nayak, Sarpanch of Pokharigocha 
Workers from Tendabadi, Similisahi, Pokharigochha, Bhogabadi, Sariganda, Tumundi, and Takara Gram Panchayats actively participated. 

Focus on Development & Strategy 

Both meetings emphasized grassroots engagement, problem-solving, and strengthening BJP’s presence in Kandhamal ahead of upcoming elections. Leaders highlighted the need for effective governance and community welfare initiatives. 
The events concluded with a resolve to address local concerns and work collectively for the region’s progress.
