Anandam Foundation, Hemgir Branch Organizes "World Peace Yagna" on Bhadra Purnima

Hemagiri:(Reported by Sanatan Mahakuda): On the auspicious occasion of Bhadra Purnima, September 18, 2024, Anandam Foundation's Hemgir branch successfully organized a "World Peace Yagna" (Homa) at Barpali. This sacred event aimed to promote peace and harmony in the region. 

The program began at 10 AM with Vedic chants and devotional hymns, setting a serene and spiritual atmosphere. Shri Ashok Bhoi and Shri Lingaraj Bhoi, priests from the Gayatri Parivar of Lakhanpur, Jharsuguda, led the Yagna rituals with great devotion and precision. Shri Sushil Kumar Chaudhury and his wife, Smt. Raseshwari Patel, took the role of yajamana (chief hosts), guiding the rituals as the primary participants. 

Anandam Foundation, Hemgir Branch Organizes "World Peace Yagna" on Bhadra Purnima

The event attracted an enthusiastic response from the local community. Residents of Barpali and surrounding areas of Hemgir block actively participated with full dedication. The Yagna concluded with the final offering (Purnahuti) and distribution of prasada at around 3 PM, marking the successful completion of the event. 

Shri Manoj Das, General Secretary of Anandam Foundation, and Shri Shishir Chaudhury briefed the attendees on the objectives and activities of the foundation, explaining its commitment to fostering spiritual and social growth in the community. They highlighted how events like the Yagna align with the foundation's mission to promote peace, unity, and well-being. 

Among the dignitaries present were Shri Benudhar Nayak, coordinator of the event, and Shri Gouranga Pasayat, an active member of the Anandam Foundation's Hemgir branch. The ceremony saw the participation of 68 people, reflecting the deep-rooted spiritual values shared by the community. 

This spiritual gathering not only united the participants in prayers for global peace but also strengthened the bond within the community. The Anandam Foundation continues to work towards its mission of promoting inner peace and collective well-being through such meaningful and inspiring initiatives.
