NAYAGARH: Empowering Students with Skills for the Future

Nayagarh – A workshop aimed at promoting self-employment and skill development after higher education was recently organized at the Model Degree College in Nayagarh. Under the leadership of Dr. Manas Ranjan Satapathy, the Principal of the college, the event focused on guiding students towards a successful career path. The workshop saw the participation of around 150 students, who gained valuable insights into career growth and overcoming challenges.

The chief guest at the event, Mr. Rahul Jain, an IPS officer and Superintendent of Police in Nayagarh, shared his wisdom on cracking competitive exams like the Central Civil Services. He highlighted the importance of resilience, determination, and preparation. He also encouraged students to face life's challenges with courage and determination, emphasizing that these qualities are essential to build a successful career. 

During the interactive session, Mr. Jain patiently answered students' questions, providing simple and effective solutions. His approachable demeanor allowed students to openly discuss their concerns, making the session highly beneficial. 

Another notable guest at the event, journalist Mr. Jayendra Behera, offered valuable information to students, guiding them on making informed decisions about their future careers. His input was appreciated by the attendees, as he shed light on the importance of staying informed and updated in today's competitive world. 

The workshop was efficiently conducted by Ms. Madhusmita Mahapatra, the convener of the "Career Counseling" cell, who ensured a smooth flow of events. The event wrapped up with a heartfelt vote of thanks, delivered by Mr. Prajnyans Ranjan Sahu, acknowledging the contributions of all participants. 

Prominent figures like Mr. Gouramohan Sahu, Dr. Jayaram Singh Samal, Dr. Jyotsnarani Kar, and many others attended the event, making it a significant learning experience for the students. The workshop left a lasting impact, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the competitive job market successfully.
