Nayagarh: (Report- Ramakrushna Rath): The Nayagarh District Education Department organised a grand felicitation ceremony recently. The department held this special event at the Srujana conference hall of the Zilla Parishad. Officials organised this program to recognise and honor the bright students of the district. They awarded a total of fifty-two students during the event. These students achieved the top 'A1' grade in this year's High School Certificate examination.

Nayagarh District Collector Madhumita Rath presided over the meeting and managed the event. Dr. Sambit Patra, the Member of Parliament from Puri, attended the celebration as the chief guest. Several other important leaders joined the ceremony as guests of honor. These included Khandapada MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Dusmanta Kumar Swain, Nayagarh Zilla Parishad Chairman Engineer Debashish Patnaik, Chief Development Officer Lagnajit Rout, and Additional District Magistrate Rojina Das. All these leaders guided the young students with their inspiring words.
The guests spoke about the true value of such award ceremonies. They stated that honoring students increases their self-confidence and motivates them. The leaders explained that this honor is not just a simple prize. Instead, it reflects the students' hard work, daily discipline, and good values. The guests advised the students to use their knowledge and good actions to make their society and country proud. They also praised the District Education Department for taking this positive step.
The program started with a warm welcome. Additional Education Officer Gitanjali Sahoo delivered the welcome speech. After that, District Education Officer Chittaranjan Pandey addressed the audience. He shared important details and historical data about the successful students of the Nayagarh district.
The officials gave special recognition to one outstanding student. Saroj Kumar Jena from Anchalika High School, Kridaspur, scored the highest marks in the entire district. The guests honored him specially for his great achievement. Furthermore, the education department also honored the headmaster and all the teachers of his school for their excellent guidance.
During the event, some of the top students shared their own experiences. Saroj Kumar Jena, Rashmita Sahoo, Bishwamayi Parida, Sunita Pradhan, and Prataprudra Ghadei gave short speeches. They shared their thoughts on the topic "Success and its Foundation." Towards the end of the program, Chief Guest Dr. Sambit Patra distributed special gifts. He gave a book, a notebook, and a new bag to every successful student.
Sarat Chandra Acharya successfully managed and coordinated the entire program. Finally, Additional Education Officer Sandhyarani Rout delivered the vote of thanks to close the successful ceremony.
