NAYAGARH, April 20: (Report- Ramakrushna Rath): The Nayagarh district administration celebrated the birth anniversary of the great poet Sri Jayadev. Officials organised the event at the local Zilla Parishad office. 
District Collector Madhumita Rath attended the programme as the chief guest. Zilla Parishad President Er. Debashish Patnaik, Chief Development Officer Lagnajit Rout, and District Information and Public Relations Officer Jyotsnamayi Acharya also joined the stage as guests of honor.
District Culture Officer Sumitra Bhuyan welcomed the audience and coordinated the programme. During the event, the special guests discussed the life, philosophy, and values of Poet Jayadev.
Senior journalist Ramakrishna Rath also took part in the celebration. He highlighted the deep spiritual and literary importance of the poet's famous work, 'Gita Govinda'.
To close the successful event, the District Information and Public Relations Officer delivered a formal vote of thanks to all attendees.
